Dec. 23, 2019, 2:33 a.m. ET BEIJING — China said on Monday that it would lower tariffs on a range of goods imported from around the world starting on Jan. 1, moving to support domestic consumers even as a trade truce with the United States has relieved some of the pressure on the Chinese economy.
China draft raising 2025 electrified-car sales target to about 25%, Fiat Chrysler-Peugeot $50 billion merger, and Tesla beginning Model 3 deliveries in Shanghai. The other major theme was automakers getting ready for the new lower emissions targets in Europe that begin on January 1, 2020.
