Lady, even blue chips can turn blue-black if you buy at the wrong time. If you are not so familiar with the stock market now, I recommend that you go for ETFs (although I never try it myself), because stock picks have inherent risks involved, always. Just my 2 cents worth of advice.

Agreed. Its really good track record has only been the last 2 FY, which is not very long. I am vested a little bit, but going long, in case it's a dark horse, although this dark horse is now very popular and not so dark anymore.

CFGL fell from a 52-week high of 85.5 cents to 31.5 because before acquiring Copeinca, it was doing badly. The greatest challenge in this acquisition is whether what is essentially a Chinese company can integrate and synergize the fishing operation of a Peruvian company and do well. My own assessment is that the jury is still out, so though I am vested (I'm a newbie and my valuation skills were terrible then), I dare not buy more. In any case, after all the hullabaloo this morning, the share price has only risen 1 cent from yesterday's closing, so you won't lose much if you dive in to get some more now.

I think market is very nervous with its change of top leadership and also the recent debacles with S-chip shares like Eratat. Unless there is undiscovered fraud, I believe its value will come back up with time. I may be wrong, but I take the profit warning positively because they don't have to do this unless they care about shareholders' loyalty.
