PEC said that it had secured $100 million in new contracts. One of the contracts involves the provision of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works for the development of crude oil storage and handling facilities in the United Arab Emirates. It was awarded by an existing customer and is expected to complete in May 2016. Two other contracts involve mechanical, piping and structural steel works for a tankage project on Jurong Island and are expected to complete in the next 10 months.
